How EcoWater Reverse Osmosis Filters Work
Every EcoWater system uses a three-stage filtration process to turn your tap water into clean drinking water.
The pre-filter is the first line of defense. It catches sediment, dirt, and chlorine before they reach the membrane. This protects the membrane from premature wear and keeps the system running efficiently.
Water then passes through the reverse osmosis membrane, where pressure forces it through a semi-permeable barrier. The membrane rejects dissolved solids, heavy metals, and a wide range of contaminants, flushing them to the drain.
The post-filter handles the final step. It polishes taste and removes any remaining odor before water reaches the faucet. Filtered water is stored in the tank under your sink until you need it.
